I'm not dead! ^^ Finally submitting a piece after, like, forever. And yes, I cheated and made the background the same color as Deviantart. T_T Forgive me. I wanted it to look cool. *pokes her fingers together Hinata-style*

I submitted this in Traditional because although the background and watermark were done digitally, the art of Michan herself is all hand-drawn, inked, and colored with prisma pencils and various markers. If it belongs somewhere else, let me know and I'll move it. Don't banish me! *flails arms about* O.o

X3 Oh my, I hope I don't cause any severe medical problems for anyone.

Acutally, Michan here is my "Author Character." She represents me as an artist. Many anime artists in Japan have such characters. The creator of FMA uses a cow with glasses as her character, and the artist for the Slayers manga draws himself chibi with a cape and a giant inking pen. I love cats, have been compared to a hyperactive yellow tabby, and have a fondness for catgirls, so Michan had to be a yellow tabby catgirl.

Michan's hairstyle, skin tone, eyecolor, and overall appearance is my own, with the exception of the bubblegum-cottoncandy-pink haircolor and cat ears. I've always secretly wanted pink hair, and have a weakness for it as well. Utena from Revolutionary girl Utena, Miharu from Girls Bravo, and adult Small Lady Serenity from Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon are just a few of my favorite pink-haired anime heriones.

The only difference is that I made Michan a bit skinnier than usual in this pic. She's actually a full-figured character with a little chub, inspired by the art of , who is not afraid to draw cute anime girls with healthy figures. Incidentally, she's the head of her own catgirl deviant art club, of which I am a member. I don't have the link, but you can check it out on her page. ^^

Oh,the knowledge... :D I had to go familiarize myself with those Anime characters.Utena,I know I've watched something with that character in it :? Miharu,:wow: Yukinari is one lucky dude!!!...well except for the allergy thing.Small Lady Serenity(adult) [link] That's her as a child and as an adult,is it not? ...and this one,I just liked [link]
