Yup, I am indeed silly. Tis' part of my nature. ^^

It helps that I've got a crazy imagination. Sometimes I find qualities in characters that I genuinely admire, and that's why they end up my favorites. Like Rock Lee's hard work and optimism, and Michelangelo's sense of humor. I do tend to go overboard, but hey, there are worse things I could be into. Like ...cow tipping....or something....

And yeah, I think Uncle Travelin' Matt is played by Jim Henson, so that'd explain why he sounds so much like Kermit.

Actually I watched the first episode, well up to the singing garbage heep part because I had to go to work, and I actually liked it. lol

I'm a sucker for a cartoon, I'll basically watch anything thrown at me lol I did like Matt's theme song though. ^^ A lot of singing in fraggle rock though

lol no I really do like it. ^^ lol I like the old man too. I'm a big Jim Henson fan, I love the Muppets..I just haven't seen Fraggle Rock much at all though.

^^ Same, but Fraggle Rock is very well written for a children't show. ^^ I like it, it's a little cheesey with the singing but it's not like today's stuff. xp

lol you never see anything this innocent in the world anymore, heck if Fraggle Rock was re-made, Gobo would be carrying a gun instead of a guitar

I agree. Plus, they'd make sure to add jokes for the grown folks watching. It was really funny. And if you watch today's children's shows on PBS, they're really bad...they're so Politically Correct, most of the stuff in Fraggle Rock would be considered scandalous (they actually make fun of cults in one episode, but it's mostly to show the dangers of following people blindly).

Yeah, innocence is considered a liability by a lot of folks. I constantly have people who see how I act and feel the need to "fix" me by trying to force me to watch horror movies or porn. O.o

And what you said earlier about following my own path. I am, but that doesn't mean I can't learn about what my friends like. The singing is a little cheesey, but all in all FR isn't bad. I plan on getting some muppet movies anyway. I collect older cartoon series. It's a fun trip down memory lane lol but I also want things to let my children watch when they're young. ^^

I have one series from the old TMNT show, the second/final season of the Super Mario Brothers Super Show, and another short Mario Brothers series. ^^ lol I'm a nut but everything is so politically correct. Back then people never worried about half of the stuff they do in today's world
