My long-awaited half of my Fraggle trade with the awesome :icongolddemona:. She asked for her Fraggle Goldie with Boober. Izzn't they cute? :heart:

I actually originally colored this using traditional media...and it came out looking HORRENDOUS...(seriously, it looked like my prismas had barfed). Luckily, I had already saved a copy of the clean lineart on my computer, so I did something I haven't done in FOREVER and tried digital media again.

I did the main coloring work in Open Canvas, and added additional shading and the little-kid-playing with fingerpaints background in Adobe Photoshop CS2 (a program that's awesome, but I'm still a major newbie at using).

I really feel I didn't do Boober justice. I swear, I heard him yelling at me the whole time I was making this.

Boober: "STOP! Stop this monstrosity AT ONCE! I swear...I'll...I'll...I'll wash your whites and coloreds TOGETHER!!!" *shakes fraggle fist*

Poor Boober, he has to deal with my inability to draw hats properly. But I tried, Boober, I really did. Honest. Please don't turn all my work shirts pink.

Actually Boober sounds like he too was voiced by Jim Henson. ^^; lol I dunno. but anyway your art is very good Michan! :3

Boober was voiced by Dave Goelz (AKA Gonzo), and he also did Traveling Matt and the Worlds Oldest Fraggle. =)

Only two characters Jim did were Cantus the Minstrel and Convincing John.

Just a bit of dorky trivia for ya. =P

lol thank you! ^^ No wonder he sounded so familiar. :nod: lol I like the hat episode. They're like:

"Lets go look for food! La la la"

ANd he's like "No it's not in there la la la." lol xD

I don't remember much of the show. ^^; as a kid but I've watched a couple of the episodes on Youtube. It's a little cheesey but not that bad. :3 lol

"Wow and I thought they were scary, but that's just horendous(yay for bad spelling xP)!" lol I love how they make fun of us humans xD lol it's writen well for a kiddy show too. :nod:

Yeah he was. Too bad he died. The world needs more crative people like him :nod: It's always been a dream of mine to have my characters remembered like that. :D Maybe one day..^^;

it makes you wonder just how many people made fun of/critisized him as a child for playing with puppets. But he probably never gave up. ^^

I get so tired of seeing reality shows, people have no creative talent what-so-ever anymore. xp but :shrug: what can you do eh? lol
